TRIAD Trust is a consortium of exceptional athletes,
artists, musicians, filmmakers, physicians, educators,
policymakers and health care advocates dedicated to
increasing HIV/AIDS awareness and encouraging prevention.
We train local leaders to run sustainable sports, arts
and media programs for orphans and vulnerable children
in areas affected by HIV/AIDS.
Our
goal is to create a dependable stable of expert volunteers
in the fields of sports, the arts, media, health care,
and education who will help:
(a)
assess the specific needs of a community with exceptional
respect for maintaining cultural integrity;
(b) inspire children to lead positive lifestyles with
their leadership, skills, and compassion;
(c) identify leaders within community;
(d) train these leaders to help create sustained and
sustainable programs;
(e) provide ongoing mentorship to the community leaders
and material assistance when possible;
(f) raise financial and material support for the ongoing
work in each of our partner communities.
