documenting
the recent trip in early July. TRIAD
returned to South Africa and Swaziland to implement
new oral health and hygiene HIV education programs
for children and health care providers. TRIAD also
rolled out fun, new drama-based education initiatives
and continue to grow an exciting basketball program.
Congratulations,
Boston Celtics
TRIAD
congratulates the Boston Celtics on a championship
season. We are proud to partner with the NBA Champions
to help stop the transmission of HIV/AIDS. TRIAD
would like to thank the Celtics and their fans for
two great nights teaming up with us all season long.
Together, we raised awareness and money for an important
cause. We also collected lots of new and used cleats,
sneakers and athletic gear for the orhpans and vulnerable
children who participate in our HIV education programs
in Africa.

Long
Island Students Taking Up the Cause
On
March 31, TRIAD founder Brooke Wurst spoke with
the children at the Gardiner's Avenue School in
Levittown, NY. The Gardiner Avenue students were
the first to partner with South African children
in the innovative Photo PenPals program, in which
the students exchanged photographs and postcards.
The NY students also collected over 500 shirts and
hundreds of pounds of hygiene products from their
community!
