Overview

TRIAD’s goal is to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS and to reduce the incidence of AIDS-related deaths.

The mission is to train local leaders to create and sustain HIV education programs for vulnerable youth.

The TRIAD Trust is a consortium of exceptional artists, musicians, journalists, filmmakers, athletes, coaches, physicians, educators, policy-makers and health care advocates dedicated to increasing HIV/AIDS awareness and encouraging prevention. These programs use sports, arts, and technology to provide kids with the tools they need to lead an HIV-free life.

TRIAD’s staff and expert volunteers visit and assess the specific needs of a high-prevalence community with exceptional respect for maintaining its cultural integrity. 

While in partner communities, TRIAD’s staff and volunteers: 

• - Identify talented and interested local leaders & the activities that inspire them;
• - Train these leaders to create, run &effect health education programs through those activities;
• - Nurture professional development & proessional development;
• - Sustain by providing tools to establish financial independence.
