Eran Bendavid, MD, MS; Physician, researcher, former college soccer player at Dartmouth College; a graduate of Harvard Medical School, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Stanford; he is completed his fellowship at Stanford University’s Center for Health Policy studying interdisciplinary approaches to prevent and treat infectious diseases, with a focus on HIV/AIDS, in developing countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Eran is instrumental in focusing TRIAD’s programming practices and implementation in light of the latest research.

Lisa Haddad, MD, MA, MPH in progress; Physician, researcher; After graduating from Cornell University and earning a master’s in neurobiology at New York University, Lisa earned her medical degree at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. She did her residency in OB/GYN at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, and concentrated on reproductive planning and sexual health in developing regions. She has worked extensively on the ground in Zambia, Malawi, Guatemala, and South Africa helping communities develop reproductive health programs and tending to individuals’ health needs in the process. Lisa helps TRIAD create community-appropriate health and HIV components to its programs, and helps on the ground by training local leaders to manage women’s health and ante-natal care. She is currently doing a post-doctoral fellowship and earning her Master’s in Public Health at Emory University and at the Centers for Disease Control.

Gabriel Ledger, MD; Physician, writer, comedy performer, and documentary filmmaker; Gabe’s unique angle on medicine and the arts have earned his documentary film, “The Rest of My Life: Stories from Trauma Survivors,” awards at several film festivals across the United States. Gabe has worked as a physician in the field in South Africa and throughout Latin America. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the prestigious Mask & Wig comedy troupe, and a legend on the Ultimate team. Before attending Harvard Medical School, Gabe did HIV research at UCSF and community outreach in the Bay Area. You’d never know he wore bright orange pants as the graduation speaker at Harvard Medical School.

Megan Leo, MD, Medical Director Emeritus; Physician, researcher, former collegiate stalwart for the University of Virginia’s standout women’s soccer team. Megan graduated from the University of Florida with a focus on Global Health. Megan is completing her residency in Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center. She has been on the ground for research and medical missions in Central America, Bangladesh and South Africa. Megan has contributed articles to the Journal of Clinical Microbiology, and was awarded a fellowship by the American Society of Tropical Hygiene and Medicine. She brings an exceptional understanding of compassionate treatment of HIV/AIDS in developing nations and the power of sport to every aspect of her involvement in the TRIAD Trust.

Nicole Salazar-Austin, MD; Physician, researcher, Nicole has lived and practiced medicine and primary care for more than a year in the communities in which TRIAD works. After earning a degree in Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and before attending Harvard Medical School, Nicole spent time living and working in the Nkomazi region of South Africa. After graduating from Harvard, she returned for another year to help bolster primary care, especially for orphans and vulnerable children and people living with HIV/AIDS. She oversaw the push for increased HIV testing and helped to manage TRIAD’s relationship with the communities in which we work. She is completing her residency in Pediatrics at The University of Pennsylvania’s Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
