I wish to have my own place where I can teach people music, where I can teach people drama, where I can teach people how to be creative... to let them know that if they have something like talent, you can make your own business with that talent.
Music Program
In addition to working with local artists and musicians to create exciting, fun, and relevant musical improvisation-based HIV lessons, TRIAD works with these performers to help them learn the skills necessary to succeed.
The Nkomazi TRIAD ImprovED troupe worked with legendary producer Joel Hamilton and multi-instrumentalist and recording artist Marika Hughes to begin work on the first CD project. The songs, all written and performed by TRIAD staff and volunteers, are thematically related to the lessons taught as a part of ImprovED workshops. Tracks will be available or download in 2011.
